Situated on a quiet street in the Heritage district in the heart of historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, Cecile's House Bed & Breakfast (Circa 1890) has a perfect location. Just between the lake Ontario and Queen Street the main street.
The Oldest golf course in North America, the famous Oban Inn, a Spa, the main street with its shops, casual and fine dining restaurants and theatre are just one block away.
| Let me tell you a little about myself. I was
born and raised in the small town of La Gaubretière
in Western France. I was fortunate to study gourmet
cooking in Nantes, France. This gave me the opportunity
to find employment in a four star hotel in the
Parisian Region. I then moved on to a small hotel
in Germany before returning to France to fulfill
my military service.
Since then I’ve worked as a sous-chef in
Quebec City (for the Hilton and with Executif
Chef Jean Soulard), at the World Trade Center
in New York City and for fourteen years I was
the Executive Chef for L’hotel de la Montagne
in Montreal.
Now people can find me at Cecile's
House where I am the owner of this Bed & Breakfast,
which has been in operation since Feb 2001, and recently the most lovely store on Queen street (right next to the post
Office) Cecile's Home and Gift... with a French twist.
